Summary
I am a huge Perry Mason fan and I remember stumbling upon his books in 2006. It’s been more than 10 years but I am still in awe of his books. Perry Mason is a lawyer; This was the first time I had read a lawyer related murder mysteries and the way he traps the murderer by cross examining the witnesses is amazing. These books are written in 1930’s and they show a different era when mobile phones/ internet was not invented, buzzer system was used to get into an apartment and so on.. This book doesn’t have the usual courtroom drama, which is exciting, but it does have a talking parrot. Not the best of Perry Mason works, but a good and quick read..
